Well, according to the latest Cut Blog, the biggest thing for prom dresses this year are those of the (shall we say) revealing category. Cut outs mixed with a form fitting dress is all the rage.
What happened to the frills and the pouf? And what parent is actually agreeing to buying one of these hideous dresses?

These Jimmy Choos are about $2,500 bucks and they light up when you dance. So many snarky comments come to mind, but let’s call a spade a spade shall we? How much does the average women go dancing? What type of women can justify spending that kind of money? Maybe one that dances for a living? We’re just sayin’.

We never thought we’d say this but: We’re seriously considering rolling Barbie for her boots! This Dolly Forever Safari Barbie is actually look #two out of three that have been collaborated together with fashion mogul Christian Louboutin. This Safari Barbie also comes with THREE other pairs of Louboutins, no wonder there’s a wait list for her.
elow30 Being a Louboutin-aholic I must say I am one of the nutto few that shelled out $150 on a web-site for this. Crazy, I know! I made an excuse to my hubby that "it was for our daughter, a collector's item". Meanwhile, it will be in MY closet, on the TOP shelf and NEVER touched! I have been waiting for it to arrive like a child on Christmas morning!

elow30 I did want to add that I found out about the doll months ago from Louboutin. "Hello, my name is ..... and I'm a Louboutin-holic! I never realized that there was a wait list! CRAZY!
And I flubbed/ It has the fringe boots and three shoe changes. A pair of wedges, heels and the staple of Louboutin's, the 4" ankle wrap heel! LOVE IT!

Yes. This is a true statement, one of the top trends for spring according to NEW YORK MAGAZINE’S SHOPPING GUIDE is bloomers.
And to tell you the truth, we think they’re pretty cute.
Those featured above are made by American Apparel and they retail for about $25.
elow30 Are they referencing an adorable French Organic Cotton set that I purchased for my cousin's baby shower?
I'm sorry but these things look horrendous on adults! They look, to put it bluntly, like you need a diaper change or have a serious sand in your swimsuit beach day! If you got some back, these will make you look like booty gone bigger!
This fashion do is most definately left to 1. The super skinny and 2. The under 6mth crowd!

Sometimes a first date is just a whirlwind of little white lies that lead to utter disappointment. For those of you who would like to advertise clearly their vices before they begin a doomed relationship there is the Cast Of Vices line by Peter Davis.
They are necklaces that feature pendants in the shape of cigarette butts, bottle caps, pills and coke bags. You can actually get a gold or silver Xanax, Oxycontin, Klonopin, Morphine, Adderal, Vicodin, Percocet or Valium necklace if you so desire.
We’re not condoning it, but hey kudos to you if you have the cohones to wear one.

As you know I am a jewelry designer and I am laughing at the incredibally crass way that GORG silver and gold is used now a days! I have seen the guns, the skulls and now PILLS/COKE BAGS! I have to tell you that I would buy this to wear on a first date to weed out the guys with absolutely no sense of humor! Especially speed dating!
I cannot wait to tell my friends about this! Friggin seam busting!

elow30 Had an up close and personal view of this new fashion do. I must say, in live runway, it looks a mess! I was put off by the looks that resembles what my puppy does to my clothing on a daily basis! It's not for the size 6 and up crew! I love the accessories but this fad will die out, hopefully, fast!
I heard "garbage chic", SERIOUSLY??? Why would I wear gaaabaggge, as my truly fashionable dad would put it, with +2K price tags? No deal! I may resurrect some of the clothing in my closet to put together a look like above and see what the public thinks.

I di love the Milly, the Frank Tell sweaters (did not see) and Rebecca Taylor take on the "fringe". I saw some crazy distasteful interpretations at NYFW. I do want to know why the designers all had the same content in collections? It's like there are lil moles in each design house that play telephone!

elow30 The result of my poll!
I took a chocolate brown vintage Lagerfeld skirt that I was sending off to the big red box on the side of the road. I CAREFULLY took a pair of pinking shears and went wacko on this beautiful piece of fabric. I felt like I was at work layering away, at hair that is! It was comparable to the rocker chic, massively shattered hair that is seen ALL over the place! Anyway...I turned this skirt into the look #2 (above) from the Rebecca Taylor show. I paired it with a long cream colored cashmere sweater and my FAV Anouk chocolate brown tall boots.
I asked my lovely friends, with whom I trust to give me accurate and brutally honest advice, about what I was wearing and how they felt about the new trend. I had 22 yays and 3 nahs.
I believe my last statement untrue. If you pair it with a basic, it looks AMAZING!

The point is, I can still dance like a star with my comfortable Choo's! Hunter style! LOL!
