Referral Program
If you are the first to refer someone to our site, and the same someone buys something from us in the future, you will receive a flat bonus or a % of the sales price to be applied towards future purchases on the site after the following rules:
- The affiliate program will award you a flat bonus or a % of the sales price (to be applied towards future purchases) made by a customer where you were the original referrer. Original referrer means that you were the first person to refer the customer to our website.
- You must direct visitors to our website using either your personal referral link (on your "My Account" page), the "Send a postcard" link in the navigation menu, the "Forward this page to a friend" form found on most of our pages, or the "Share on Facebook" link. When using the "Tell a Friend", "Forward..." or "Share on Facebook" functionality, you must make sure you are logged in so your personal tracking code is included automatically in the email or on Facebook. The personal referral link can be copied and pasted into emails, blogs, myspace pages etc.
- The person you refer MUST click on the link which includes the tracking code, as described in the previous bullet, before visiting the site by any other means (including direct navigation). If the referral does not click on the link, or if the referral has visited the site previously before clicking on the link, we cannot track the referral.
- Almost all internet users today have cookies enabled. When referred, the recipient/visitor must have cookies enabled so we are able to award you points for the referral. If the referral clears the cookies on his/her computer after you refer him/her, but before signing up as a member of the site, we will no longer be able to track the referral and the referral will be void.
- A purchase must be made within 12 months after the referral was made.
- You cannot refer yourself or any person in your household.
- The points will be awarded within 30 days of purchase. Any return of merchandise may void the referral.
